Fossils in Graf, IA

According to Brian Preston, Ranger/Naturalist for the Dubuque County Conservation Board: "There indeed is a unique fossil collecting site near Graf.  The site is along Graf Rd.near the concrete Heritage Trail bridge, just 1/4 mile west of the park, on the north side of the road. You can find pelecypods, gastropods, pteropods and the site is famous for the numerous nautiloid cephalopods."

On Google Maps, it's here.
